On Sunday morning Mrs. Chas. Ringeisen passed from this life out into the next leaving a large family to mourn her loss. She was 43 years old and her worth can not be better shown than by a reference to the large respectable family she has brought up.--Paxton Record. 21 August 1890.
Age at death: 45 yr 1 mo 4 da. An infant is buried on the same plot. The records provide no surname or gender for this child, but do list the burial date of Aug. 15, 1890. Since Sophia died Aug. 15, 1890, and was buried Aug. 18, 1890, it is likely that she died following childbirth.
