Elmer Ralph Talbot, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter J. Talbot, died at his home Friday morning, March 14, 1924, aged 6 years, 2 months, and 24 days after an illness of ten days with lobar pneumonia.
Elmer had been a strong, healthy child until this attack which suddenly developed into a very severe case. He was given every attention that loving hands could bestow and as the illness grew worse two trained nurses were placed in charge that nothing might be overlooked, but the disease had too strong a hold and naught could avail.
The funeral services were held at the home Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, Rev. John T. Killup officating. Among those who attended the funeral were Warren, Elmer and Miss Nellie Talbot of Chicago.
The sympathy of the entire community is extended to the bereaved parents, brothers and sisters.
