Evelyn May Dilks

Evelyn May Dilks, daughter of O.C. and Catherine Dilks was born at Roberts, Illinois, December 11, 1914, and died at her home in Roberts, Monday evening, December 29, 1924, aged 10 years and 18 days.

Evelyn met with an injury when quite small and has been an invalid all her life. While she was thus a care to her parents she was none the less beloved and has received constant attention and all the care that loving hands could bestow. Recently her afflictions were added to by an abscess and other complications from which all that could be done did not avail.

The funeral service will be held at the home Thursday, January 1st, at one o'clock, Rev. Jeanette O. Ferris officiating. Interment in Lyman Cemetery. The many friends join the family in sorrow at their sad bereavement.
