Mrs. B. A. Bath who formerly lived North of town and removed two years ago to near Roberts where she has been a sufferer, confined to her bed for nine weeks and bore all with a marvelous patience and at the end expressed herself as "perfectly willing to go."
Miranda (Evans) Bass was born July 28th, 1851 in Iroquois county, Ill., and died Friday night at 10:05 o'clock, January 7th, 1898, aged 46 years, ? months and 9 days. She was married March, 16th, 1875, to B. A. Bass who now with two children, Nettie and Fred, survive her.
The funeral was conducted by Rev. Coolidge, at the M.E. church Sunday morning, of which she was a member. Following the funeral the remains were interred in the Roberts cemetery. The bereaved family have the sympathy of all in their sad bereavement.
