Mrs. Alta F. (Nisely) Olsen widow of John Olson died at her home in Normal, Friday, October 23rd, 1925, aged 60 years, 5 months and 10 days. Mrs. Olsen had spent most of her life in and around Roberts. She went with her parents to Hope, Nebraska, where she was married to Mr. Olsen, then of Roberts. She and her husband then returned to Roberts where they lived for many years. About twelve years ago they moved to Normal.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Ruby Stutzman of Rantoul, Mrs. Hazel Huffman of Normal and Miss Bessie Olsen of Normal.
The funeral service was held Monday afternoon at the Congregational Church in Roberts after which the remains were laid to rest in Lyman Cemetery. The many friends in this vicinity join the family in sorrow.
