DEATH OF MRS. EDWARDS
Kankakee, Ill., April 6. -- Mrs. Letitia Edwards died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fred Bowers of 1211 South Schuyler avenue, last night, after a long illness.
Funeral services will be held at the Bowers home at 3 o'clock Wednesday afternoon and the body will be taken to Roberts, Ill., Thursday morning for burial in the family lot.
Mrs. Edwards was born in Russellville, Ohio, July 6, 1833. Besides Mrs. Bowers, she is survived by nine children, Charles, of Hapward, Wis.; Mrs. W. G. Morris, of Chicago; A. J. Edwards, of Indianapolis; James of Lafayette, Ind.; Lewis, of Milford, Ill.; N. F. Edward, of Roberts; Mrs. Effie Hatton (?), Mrs. L. B. Brown, and Mrs. J. H. Sachs, of Los Angeles. Mr. Edwards died December 30, 1912. She was a member of the Christian church of Kankakee.

Mrs. Ellis Edwards
Miss Letitia West was born in Brown County, Ohio, July 6, 1839, and died at her home in Kankakee, Illinois, Sunday evening, April 4th, 1926, aged 86 years, 8 months and 28 days.
In 1863 she was married to Mr. Ellis Edwards at her home in Brown County, In 1875 they moved to Ambia, Indiana, where they lived until 1893 when they moved to Roberts, Illinois, which was their home until March 190? when they moved to Buckley and two years later to Kankakee. Mr. Edwards died December 29, 1912.
Mr. and Mrs. Edwards were the parents of six sons and six daughters. One son George died in infancy. One daughter Mrs. Nona Flora died Nov. 5, 1905. She is survived by five sons and five daughters as follows: Charles of Wisconsin, Mrs. Elizabeth Morris of Chicago, Albert J. of Indianapolis, James of Lafayette, Louis of Milford, Mrs. Effie Holton of Los Angeles, California, Newton F. of Roberts, Mrs. Bird Brown of Atlanta, Georgia, Mrs. Mollie Bowers of Kankakee, and Mrs. Letitia Sachs of Los Angeles.
The funeral services were held at Kankakee this afternoon. Burial will be in Lyman Cemetery in Roberts tomorrow, Thursday, at one o'clock.
The deceased was a kind wife and mother, an excellent neighbor, one whose friendship could ever be relied upon. She was ever ready to assist those who needed help. Her many friends remember her as a most excellent woman worthy of the esteem of all who knew her. They join the family in sorrow at her death.
