George Byron Gordon

George Byron Gordon died at this home in Fairbury, Sunday, October 13, 1918, aged 78 years, 8 months and 13 days. The funeral services were held at the family residence, Tuesday, October 15, at 1:30 o'clock, Rev. G. H. Thorpe pastor of the M. E. Church, officiating. The remains were then laid to rest in Lyman Cemetery at Roberts. The I.O.O.F. and Modern Woodmen had charge of the services at the grave.
Mr. Gordon was a resident of Roberts for many years, moving from here to Fairbury about twenty-five years ago.
