Glenn Wilford Mickens

Glenn Wilford Mickens, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Mickens, died at his home southwest of Roberts, Saturday, August 13th, 1927, at 8:30 o'clock A.M. aged 5 years. 8 months and 12 days.
Glenn was attacked with appendicitis which was perforated before the operation was had. The operation was then performed but he was unable to survive the surgical shock.
He leaves his parents and three brothers. One brother preceded him in death.
The funeral services were held at the home Monday afternoon, August 15th, at two o'clock, Rev. John T. Killip officiating. Burial was at Lyman Cemetery.
The sympathy of the entire community goes out to the bereaved family.
