Thomas Bowden

Thomas Bowden was born at Plymouth, England, December 14, 1857, and died at his home near Roberts, Illinois, April 3rd, 1928, aged 70 years, 3 months and 19 days.
Mr. Bowden came to America many years ago and the greater part of his life has been spent in the vicinity of Roberts. He lived for a number of years in Gibson City and for a few years in Bloomington in both of these places he was in business.
Mr. Bowden leaves to mourn his death his widow Lillie Bowden and many friends who join the family in sorrow. He was a man who had the confidence of those who know him and was held in esteem by all.
The funeral services was held at the home, Thursday, April 5th, 1928 at two o'clock, the Rev. J. O. Ferris officiating. The remains were then laid to rest in Lyman Cemetery.
